Washington Military Alliance Announces Interim Leadership Team
The executive leadership team and advisory committee has been named to spearhead the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment grant activities for Washington State. Four individuals from across Washington, including Rich Hadley who represents the Association of Washington Business, will serve as their executive leadership team. The organization will move forward as a public partnership, formed to provide a single voice in representing the state’s interests, as the U.S. Department of Defense proceeds with spending cuts and potential military base downsizing.

Whitworth’s Robinson Receives Leadership Award
The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities has named Whitworth University President Emeritus Bill Robinson as the 2015 recipient of the Senator Mark O. Hatfield Leadership Award. The Hatfield Award is the organization’s highest recognition and is extended to individuals who exemplify Christian leadership.

Inland Empire Paper Recognized for Energy Efficiency
Millwood-based Inland Empire Paper Co. has received an honorable mention award for Leadership in Innovation from the Washington Industrial Energy Leaders. The award recognizes companies that lead the field in progress toward improved energy efficiency.

Providence Foundation Names Officers, New Members
Providence Health Care Foundation has named its officers and board members for 2015. The following were recently elected: Michael O’Malley, NAC Architecture, president; Dave Peden, Coffman Engineers, vice president; Karla Greer, FSC Financial Group, secretary; and Helen Andrus, Providence Health Care, treasurer. New board members include Chris Bell, NAI Black; Bill Bouten, Bouten Construction; Katy Bruya, Washington Trust Bank; Deanna Hildenbrand, Magner Sanborn; Sister Rosalie Locati, Sisters of Providence; and Marilyn Stevens, Airbonne International.

Gallatin’s Kotek Appointed to DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy
John Kotek, Managing Partner in the Idaho office of Gallatin Public Affairs, has been appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy. He joined Gallatin in 2007.

Incyte Diagnostics Selects CEO
Incyte Diagnostics has announced that Don Larsen has been selected as the organization’s chief executive officer (CEO). He assumed permanent CEO duties on January 1, 2015 after acting as interim CEO since June, 2014. Don has enjoyed 30 years in the health care industry, including being a CFO and CEO at several Hospital Corporation of America/Columbia facilities and in regional positions for the same organization.
