Flag_Logo_ImageApp(SPOKANE, Wash.) — Greater Spokane Incorporated, in partnership with the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and the West Plains Chamber of Commerce, will lead a delegation of nearly 100 area business, community, and education leaders to Olympia, Feb. 1-3.

Representatives from businesses and organizations of all sizes throughout the Inland Northwest will advocate on behalf of our region to provide a unified voice for our legislators.

Our entire 2017 State Legislative Priority Agenda includes policies and funding requests for a variety of projects throughout our region. Some of these items include:

  • Creating a healthier climate for businesses to start, grow and compete
  • Improving education attainment from cradle to career
  • Enhancing our region’s largest economic driver: health care
  • Developing the transportation infrastructure to help fuel our economy
  • Support civic partners who help improve our quality of life

All items included in the 2017 Agenda were vetted by GSI’s Public Policy Council, and the final Agenda was passed by the GSI Board of Trustees.

Nightly updates from the trip will be available at GreaterSpokane.org/blog.

Sunshine Disposal and Recycling is the Trip Sponsor for the 2017 Olympia Fly-In. WSU Health Sciences Spokane is the Grand Reception Sponsor. The University of Washington is the Orientation Luncheon Sponsor for the event.
