New Staff Announcement

Four new staff members joined our team in July! Here is a little more about each of them:

Dale Damron

Before coming to GSI, Dale worked at Spokane County United Way for 12 years in a similar position to the role he has now as VP of Finance and Administration. GSI’s mission of collaborative economic development fits in with his own values and he is looking forward to establishing new relationships in the community. Dale is a firm believer in being active—from hiking and kayaking to dancing and cross-country skiing—so when he’s not at his desk, you will most likely find him doing something active.

Dalton Burnett

Originally from Vancouver, WA, Dalton recently graduated from Gonzaga where he studied Communication with minors in Marketing and Public Relations. He is the Investor Relations and Database Coordinator, and he said everyone at GSI has been super friendly in helping him adjust to his new position. Dalton is a golfer, and if he could choose any course to play on he would play at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Kayla Schroetlin

A recent WSU Alum, Kayla graduated with degrees in Communication and Linguistics and is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at GSI. Having lived in Spokane for years growing up, she has enjoyed seeing the growth and change in Spokane and is excited to be a part of future community development through this organization. A musician at heart, Kayla likes to play guitar, drums, and sing in her free time.

Kelly Naumann

Kelly is the Community Manager at StartUp, an initiative of GSI. For the last five years she worked at Hutton Settlement as the Director of Community Relations and Communication. She appreciates the collaborative environment at StartUp and has enjoyed getting to meet a variety of people in her first few weeks. In her off time, Kelly likes to travel. Her next adventure? Austria and Hungary.
