Capitol Christmas Tree Stops in Spokane (PHOTOS)

The Capitol Christmas Tree was cut from the Colville National ForestĀ not far from here on Nov.1 and began a more than 5,000-mile, 25-city tour, with its last stop being the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

The tree’s second stop was this week right here in Spokane. We were there and snapped some photos:

The public was able to sign the truck holding the 88-foot tall Engelmann Spruce.

Local companies and GSI members sponsored the tree’s transportation.
