In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Greater Spokane Inc. (GSI) is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP) from agencies and organizations to administer components of an economic support funding program to address COVID-19 impacts in Spokane County.
In partnership with the Washington State Department of Commerce via the Working Washington Small Business Emergency Grant 2.0, this funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Treasury through the CARES Act to assist small businesses and non-profit economic development organizations. This funding is for costs incurred due to COVID-19 during the period of March 1, 2020, through November 15, 2020. The funding is intended to assist planned economic development and recovery activities for Spokane County, or reimburse past services.
To be sure that this is a competitive application pool, and to ensure a fair and equitable distribution process, we have initiated this RFP for COVID-19-related economic development programs. Your organization must meet all the following criteria to be eligible:
The total amount available through this funding process is $150,000 and no individual grant award will exceed $50,000. The selection process is designed to ensure that grant applications submitted for funding under this RFP are evaluated based on a fair, equitable, transparent, bias-free, and timely process.
All applications shall be submitted electronically, prepared using the Working Washington Small Business Emergency Grant 2.0 RFP, provided October 5, 2020 on GSI’s website www.greaterspokane.org/covid-19.
Interested applicants are encouraged to contact GSI at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or for technical assistance.
