A snapshot of STCU is provided below. Register today for this unique opportunity!
STCU was once known as Spokane Teachers Credit Union because of its beginning roots: it was founded by local high school teachers here in Spokane. In 1934, Lewis and Clark English teacher, Ernie McElvain started his financial service to the school staff with a meer $4,000, a bell, and a shoebox. Since its humble beginnings, STCU has grown to more than 600 employees who serve 163,000 members at 20 branch locations. STCU has become the Inland Northwest's largest and most successful credit union, but they've never forgotten that their most valuable assets are their members.
By attending this workshop, educators will return to their classrooms with knowledge to help better prepare their students who are interested in entering the multitude of fields in financial and professional services.
