Join us to learn about the Spokane-based company that has designed and built custom projects for over 10 years. Their sweet spot is developing small portable interactives and larger exhibits that are shipped all around the world to be showcased in Science Centers and Children's Museums. Recently, their focus has been around developing STEM carts for classrooms to teach students with an easily changeable, hands-on platform. The Mead School District has implemented a few of these carts in their classrooms. Watch the video here.
Near the end of the workshop, a local higher education representative will also come and speak about the opportunities for students in STEM at their institution. Register today for this unique opportunity!
FLEXHIBIT is a local small business that designs, fabricates, tests, markets and ships out STEM interactive exhibits for Science Centers and Children's Museums nationally and globally. Exhibits are portable, and are mounted on a modular wall system called a FlexWall which allows Science Centers and Children's Museums to switch out inspiring STEM content to stay current in a highly affordable manner. The multi-user and outcome interactive exhibits allow for a quality STEM learning experience in these educational facilities.
By attending this workshop, educators will return to their classrooms with knowledge to help better prepare their students in STEM and through hands-on curriculum.
Educators are free (GSI will provide 3 clock hours; pre-registration is required)
