Business AfterSchool: Providence Health & Services - Clinical Simulation Lab
Students will travel to the James W. Mounsey Clinical Simulation Lab at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital campus where they will participate in fun, hands-on learning stations while learning about a variety of health care career opportunities. The SimLab utilizes high-tech, robotic mannequins to help train new and existing health care providers. Students will meet several caregivers representing different specialties throughout the Providence care continuum including nurses, respiratory therapists, radiology and medical lab technicians. It’s an opportunity to see the type of training needed and to explore the growing medical field as student's future career.
