Our community’s demand for mental and behavioral health services is overwhelming. Providence Health Care is opening the RISE program to help address community needs.
RISE (Resources, Insight, Support and Empowerment) is a comprehensive daytime outpatient program for adolescents and adults needing mental and behavioral health services. People experiencing mental health challenges are often at risk for inpatient hospitalization or are being discharged from inpatient care. The RISE program helps fill the gap between inpatient hospitalization and one-hour outpatient therapy services.
Participants of RISE attend a day-long program for 2-5 days each week, based on the level of care needed. The programs consists of group therapy and individual sessions. People receive care from a skilled and compassionate team of psychiatrists, psychologists, advanced registered nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers. Each evening, participants go home to practice their learnings and share experiences the following day.
The RISE program helps people build on their strengths and increase resilience, while learning skills to be successful and thrive in our community.
