Presenter: Mary Burke Baker, Government Affairs Counselor, K&L Gates
The eagerly anticipated Opportunity Zone regulations are expected to be released around the end of September, barring any unforeseen snags.
There is expected to be a flurry of movement on the part of investors and developers once there is some certainty about the mechanics and implementation of the program, and so we want to provide as much information on the new rules as possible. K&L Gates has a great “Team OZ” that is well equipped to provide in-depth analysis on the regulations and we have scheduled them to present here at GSI.
Opportunity Zones promise to be a great economic development tool to help our community grow. We hope you can join us!
