Business AfterSchool:Entrepreneurship 101- Startup Spokane
Do you consider yourself an innovative thinker and problem solver? Have you ever wondered how people featured on the show Shark Tank come up with their business ideas and make them successful? It really all starts with identifying problems in day-to-day life and creating ways to solve those problems. This is entrepreneurship in a nutshell. In this workshop, high school students will learn the basics of entrepreneurship and ideation; hear from, and interact with, local entrepreneurs; have an opportunity to problem solve with high school other students and present their ideas to the group.

Our region’s students, families and community are invited to engage in these career connected learning workshops that showcase the highly valued occupations and employment paths our industries incorporate. Students, parents, educators and local businesses gather together in the workplace for a real-time visit to see these industries in action.
