Business AfterSchool Healthcare Careers @ CHAS Health
This workshop is designed specifically for middle and high school students.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to work in healthcare? This interactive workshop provided by CHAS Health will share a snapshot into career opportunities in medical, dental, pharmacy, and healthcare IT.
Hands-on activities as well as opportunities to speak to people working in each of these career fields will help you decide what healthcare career is best for you. Experience taking vitals, learn and demonstrate basic dental terminology on models, what it takes to work in a pharmacy, and what a large impact IT has in healthcare and supporting patients.
From careers you can start through apprenticeships right out of high school, learn about all the ways a career in healthcare can be a great choice for you. Give back to your community, have fun, and work with great people!
