Ever wonder how an airport operates and what kinds of jobs they employ? This workshop is for you!

This workshop will focus on the many careers in energy efficiency, engineering design, and construction trades, and will highlight some of the diverse opportunities within the built environment and energy efficiency industries. Middle and high school students can learn about how Net Zero Energy and Net Zero Buildings are created, understand how renewable energy implementation can offset carbon-emitting production of electricity, and understand the potential to reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings by 30-50%. There will be breakout sessions available to learn more in areas of interest and take a walking tour (weather permitting) of new innovations being installed in Spokane.

This workshop is designed specifically for middle & high school students.
