Teachers, counselors, advisors – join us to learn about careers in demand in public health!

Public health promotes and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) invites local educators to learn about the variety of public health careers available in a mid-sized agency. People in the field of public health work to assure the conditions in which people can be healthy, such as vaccinating children and adults to prevent the spread of disease outbreaks, prepare the community to respond in an emergency, and shed light on the latest data trends and concerns for the population's health.

 

SRHD is a public health agency providing over 40 different programs and services to individuals, families, and organizations, utilizing bachelor and master level prepared careers. SRHD is one of the largest health districts within Washington state. They have approximately 250 employees and serve a population of more than 500,000 in Spokane County.
