Job Description:

At Mathnasium, we teach math in a way that makes sense to students from elementary through high school. We are highly specialized, teaching only math, using a proven curriculum developed over the past 40 years.

We opened our first Mathnasium center on the South Hill at the start of 2018 and we are BUSY. We are thrilled to be joining this fast-growing company with more than 800 learning centers across the U.S. and Canada.

Strong candidates are bright and ambitious professionals with excellent interpersonal skills. It's proven to be an excellent fit for college students majoring in related fields like math, engineering, science, and education who are looking for part-time employment that is engaging and provides great career experience.

You will be working closely with students of all ages and abilities so patience and compassion are a must. You will be trained to instruct in the Mathnasium teaching method, but you should have a strong math background in high school and college level math classes.

Experience: Qualified candidates should have strong math skills and have successfully completed Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.  You should also have experience teaching, tutoring, or supervising children.  Compassion and patience are a must.
