GSI invites your business to host a Taste of Town.
If you are a local food and drink establishment, restaurant, bar, or a local musician, we invite you to participate to host a virtual or online event at their place of business. Spokane’s restaurant and hospitality industry is the fourth-largest employment sector in Spokane County and we want to support you, by helping to provide a platform to connect you to existing customers and create relationships with new ones. It’s all about staying connected, staying top-of-mind, creating consumer confidence when we do open, while also helping to lift the economy.
How Does it Work?
Let’s bring life back into the ‘dining out experience’. You agree to host a virtual event – a happy hour, a tasting event, a demonstration, or a cooking class while also offering up something special – a discount, special recipe, coupons, menu items, or meal kits. Then, we’ll work with you to create an online event experience that can be delivered through Zoom or Facebook and we’ll market the event through a robust marketing campaign to our membership and the greater Spokane community. Or, if you just can’t go virtual, we suggest creating a take-home meal kit, fitted with cooking instructions, so participants can engage with your business while enhancing their COVID cooking skills.
We are talking virtual:

We’ll be launching this event on May 26, and providing a bridge, just two weeks ahead of our Governor’s anticipated opening of Phase 2, when restaurants can begin allowing customers into their establishments again.
