GSI welcomes new staff members

We are excited to welcome a number of new staff to our growing team at Greater Spokane Incorporated. As you attend our events, say hello to our new team members and welcome them to our organization!

Megan Hulsey – Entrepreneur Program Manager

Megan Hulsey joined GSI as the Entrepreneur Program Manager. Megan will be working with Startup Spokane, a program that provides a variety of services to entrepreneurs, including coworking space, entrepreneur assistance and a variety of educational and networking events. In addition to owning a small business, Megan worked for the Cowles company and Ambassador Programs prior to joining GSI.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys the many outdoor pursuits available in the Inland Northwest including skiing, climbing and bicycling.

Geneva Johns-Kloor – Investor Relations Coordinator

Geneva Johns-Kloor is the new Investor Relations Coordinator. Geneva is responsible for management and maintenance of the GSI database. She also provides support to the Investor Relations and Events & Program teams. Prior to joining GSI, she attended Washington State University where she earned her degree in Sport Management and Communication. After graduation, Geneva interned with the San Diego Chargers in their Community Relations department where she assisted in the execution of several community events and programs.

Melisa Paul – Membership Account Manager

Melisa Paul recently joined Greater Spokane Incorporated as the new Membership Account Manager. Melisa works directly with the network and community to engage and connect businesses with opportunities to create something greater. She also contributes to the identification and improvement of programs and services to best meet the needs of members.

Previously Melisa worked as a junior executive for a statewide non-profit and brings the organization eight years of knowledge with non-profit management and network relations. As a long-standing Spokane resident, she has a deep appreciation and passion for the area community.

Stacia Rasmussen – Vision 2030 Business Development Manager

Stacia Rasmussen recently joined GSI as the new Vision 2030 Business Development Manager. Prior to joining GSI, Stacia held numerous administrative and executive positions at companies such as PAML, Next IT and Agilent Technologies / Hewlett Packard. In addition, Stacia founded and operated STARL Enterprises, a certified contract training company for the information technology industry. A graduate of Eastern Washington University with combined degrees in mathematics, computer science and business administration, she has extensive experience in information technology, customer services, software development, mergers and acquisitions, and project management. Stacia is also a member of numerous non-profit community-based organizations, and serves as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ryan Rodin – Economic Development Project Manager 

Ryan Rodin recently joined GSI as a Business Development Project Manager, assisting the Economic Development team in attracting and growing businesses throughout our region. Prior to joining GSI, Ryan worked for legislators at the local, state, and federal levels, and most recently was the Development Director for Spokane-based non-profit Peak 7 Adventures. He graduated from Whitworth University in 2008 with a degree in Political Science.
