SmartRecruiters selects Spokane for expansion

SmartRecruiters Inc., a software provider of recruiting solutions, recently announced the opening of a new office in downtown Spokane. Based in San Francisco, the company’s expansion will support its rapidly growing business.

The company expects the new location to open in March with 10 employees, increasing from there to support further growth. Software sales professionals, sales development representatives, renewals professionals, pre-sales engineers and marketing and professional services team members are all part of SmartRecruiters’ plan for the Spokane office.

The regional economic impact of this project is $2.4 million dollars. Read how GSI provided information to SmartRecruiters on the Advantage Spokane website.

“The growth that I have seen in Spokane in the last 21 years has been incredible,” Bob Memmer, Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales at SmartRecruiters, said in a press release.

SmartRecruiters reached out to GSI for community demographics, workforce information and available office space. The company said they are excited about their new space, which features glass and exposed brick office in a beautiful, historic building.

“Spokane offers SmartRecruiters all of the right ingredients to build out a great software sales operation – great talent, universities and affordability,” Memmer said.

Memmer has a connection to the Spokane region, previously managing Jigsaw, a CRM provider, prior to their sale to SalesForce.com. He travels between Coeur d’Alene and the Bay area office of SmartRecruiters.
