Greater Spokane Inc. is partnering with AWB Institute to pilot a new program in Spokane – the Washington State Workforce Portal. This state-wide platform connects young people across the state to internship opportunities, creating real-world learning and experience for future careers. Internship opportunities help young people navigate the world of work and make informed choices about their future career. A more clearly defined career pathway can dramatically increase the lifetime earnings and directly impact economic growth.
The portal gives employers the opportunity to post internships and find the right candidates for their business. College students can register for a free student account and search for internship opportunities.
The free portal is now open for employer and student registration and can be accessed by visiting washingtonworkforceportal.org.
