Networking Events: Make them work for you

Our awesome Events staff plans, coordinates and executes more than 100 events each year. From great big annual affairs like the Economic Forecast and the AGORA Awards to smaller monthly gatherings, like Good Morning Greater Spokane and Business After Hours, GSI events offer a great chance to connect with new people who will hopefully, over time and with intentional effort, become meaningful — and rewarding — business relationships.

We know you’re busy and some weeks your calendar is so full there’s just no way you can squeeze in another appointment. That’s why we want to make sure that when you do make time to attend one of our great events, you get the most out of it. We found this article on Entrepreneur.com and we wanted to share it with you because we think it offers great ideas about how you can stand out from the crowd and make networking events work for you.

And, as luck would have it, our Business-To-Business Trade Show is happening tomorrow afternoon at Northern Quest Resort & Casino! We get almost 1000 attendees at this event each year — talk about a great way to practice your new networking skills! It’s free to attend, so gather your friends, head out to Northern Quest and get ready to meaningfully mingle!
