Dia de Los Muertos Week!

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a deeply meaningful and colorful Mexican tradition that we celebrate for a week at Latinos en Spokane Center.

This cultural event serves as a beautiful homage to our loved ones who have passed away, honoring their memory in various ways each day from October 27th to October 31st. The Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican celebration to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. It is a deeply meaningful cultural and religious event. Families build altars decorated with flowers, candles, photos, and favorite foods of the deceased. Many visit cemeteries to clean and decorate graves, while participating in rituals like masses and processions.
