Eastern Edge – Cybersecurity: Defending the Digital Horizon
Increased risks–both domestic and abroad–are placing heavy burdens on businesses and organizations to protect their digital and physical assets from malicious agents. The frequency and complexity of attacks requires a robust technology infrastructure to counter these threats–and anticipate evolving methods that might be deployed. A well-bolstered cybersecurity program requires highly skilled and trained employees to operate it. In this forum, industry experts, including EWU alumni who are at the forefront of cybersecurity in our region, will discuss workforce demands, infrastructure needs, and what types of skills are needed to address emerging threats.
Optional roundtable discussions will be hosted following the community forum and panel.
