Ignite invites you to meet regional venture capital firms with our Meet the Investor series! Meet Daniel Li, Principal at Madrona Venture Group on Wednesday, September 9th via Zoom. The online program begins at 12:00 pm, with plenty of time for questions via chat and video.

Madrona Venture Group has invested $1.3 billion in 132 companies since its inception in 1995, including two very successful Spokane-based companies – World Wide Packets and 2nd Watch. The firm specializes in investing in seed and early-stage companies that leverage technology to create or disrupt huge markets. Madrona Venture Labs was launched in 2019 with an $11 million fund to launch companies from the ground up.

Daniel Li joined Madrona in 2015 and is active in developing intelligent applications, machine learning, and digital media. He is a frequent contributor to publications such as TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and the Seattle Times. Daniel also writes a weekly newsletter about the PNW tech and startup ecosystem called The DL. Daniel likes meeting entrepreneurs with unique insights about markets and problems that have been discovered through data, personal experience, and customer feedback.
