Together We Shine Candlelight Christmas Concert
Gather with us for one of Spokane’s most beautiful holiday traditions. Holy Names Music Center presents Together We Shine: Candlelight Christmas Concert—an afternoon of luminous music performed by our exceptional faculty, students, and guest artists. Held in the warm glow of McNally Recital Hall, this concert invites the community to experience the season through artistry, reflection, and shared light.
The program features John Rutter’s beloved Candlelight Carol, Ave Maria, Chopin’s shimmering “Aeolian Harp” Étude, selections by Shostakovich, El Nacimiento from Navidad Nuestra, festive favorites, and a joyful audience sing-along. With strings, piano, voice, and a candlelit setting, the concert blends classical works and holiday music into an inspiring celebration of hope, connection, and joy.
Now in its newest evolution, this concert carries forward a long-standing Holy Names tradition that began with the original Ave Concerts. Today, Together We Shine continues that legacy by bringing Spokane together for an afternoon of exceptional performance and community spirit.
