Episode 31: NW Entrepreneur Competition

The Northwest Entrepreneur Competition (NEC) is the largest collaborative business plan competition in the state of Washington. With more than 50 entries representing 6 colleges and universities and 2 high schools in 2017, this program is a mainstay in the Startup Ecosystem, bringing forth many great ideas from student entrepreneurs and community members from across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Sinead Vorhees, the Director of the NEC and the Associate Director of Graduate Studies at Whitworth University, joins Steve and Megan to talk about the events still coming up for the 2017 competition and to share some of the success stories from prior NEC competitions.
