Vaccine Incentive Program Gives $100 Visa Gift Cards

*Now extended through July 4.*

“Give Business A Shot in the Arm” COVID-19 Vaccination Incentive Program

People who receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccination dose at select locations between Tuesday, June 29 and Wednesday June 30 will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card (while supplies last) courtesy of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, Greater Spokane Inc., the Association of Washington Business, and the Washington State Department of Commerce.

The “Give Business a Shot in the Arm” program’s purpose is to increase the immunized population to reduce the risk of infection and limit the spread of the virus. This will also help our local economy began its recovery process. The coalition of economic development organizations encourage participants to spend the $100 locally, to help give our local businesses “a shot in the arm” as well.

The offer is extended to all Washington residents currently eligible to be vaccinated. To receive the gift card, the individual receiving the vaccination must provide their name, and phone number or email address to the program representative on-site. Each person is only allowed one gift card for the duration of the program (either first or second dose, not both).

Vaccination sites participating are located throughout Spokane County. Incentive card supplies are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Below is a complete list of locations that are participating in the program:

  1. Lynda Biggs says:

So I get my shots back in March and April as we were encouraged to do so and we get nothing! Seems very odd to me. I guess I should have held out a few months. It’s like the naughty child receiving the reward!! Just not right. Borderline nuts!

  2. Mitch Tracy says:

I work and worked in Spokane for the last 30 years, but live in Post Falls Id and am fully vaccinated. Am I still eligible for your $100 incentive reward?

  3. Hi Lynda,
We are so glad to hear you were able to get fully vaccinated! There are incentives all over the state that started after the initial rollout of vaccinations. If you are a Washington resident, you have been automatically enrolled in a statewide incentive program. You can find more information here: https://www.governor.wa.gov/news-media/inslee-announces-vaccination-incentives

  4. Mitch, we are excited for all those who have already been vaccinated. This program is specifically for those who get their first or second dose at participating locations on the dates listed in this article above.

  5. I this program still going on

  6. Hi Christine – The program is now closed.

  7. Angie Schulte says:

I will not take the shot because of not knowing the side effects and can happen to me with maybe getting more health problems. I stay home all the time to keep safe. I would get the vaccine if if Minnesota would pay 1500.00 to 2000.00 Visa card right away when I would get the sd hot because I am putting my health that doesn’t guaranty that it is not going to be affected in a harmful way or cause health issues. There is just not enough information how this vaccine is going to effect me in the years. They need to pay more for people to trust the vaccine. Money talks not free passes and tickets to stuff I would never go to at my age.

  8. Pika says:

I’m in WA state, I have kidney issues and no health insurance. If the Fed Govt would guarantee they would cover my hospital bills if I have an adverse reaction to the vaccine, I would take it. Currently; if I have a bad reaction to the vaccine, I have no way to pay medical bills- it would ruin my family. My husband has VA medical and he got the vaccine.. I know I’m not the only one that’s afraid of not being covered if I have a bad reaction.

  9. Phyllis jenkins says:

My husband and I were both vaccinated in dec and jan are we still eligible for the incentive?

  10. Hi Phyllis,
No, as the incentive was only available during the program timeframe.
