Greater Spokane Incorporated invites you to get engaged on one of our many committees. GSI committees range anywhere from B2B Connect Leads Groups to supporting our military, health care and education. Some committees are open to all, while others require an application process.

B2B Connect Leads Groups
B2B Connect Groups provide the opportunity to connect directly with new customers through trusted referrals. Group sizes vary, and are limited to one person per industry/profession. Meets: Various times and locations. Staff Liaison: Heather Hamlin | 509.321.3624

  • B2B Connect Group 1: Downtown | Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month, noon to 1 p.m. at The Onion Downtown
  • B2B Connect Group 2: Downtown | First and Third Tuesdays of each month, noon to 1 p.m. at Nectar Downtown
  • B2B Connect Group 4: River| First and Third Wednesdays of each month, 11 to noon at Wipfli Training Room
  • B2B Connect Group 5: Valley| First and Third Thursdays of each month, 10 to 11 a.m. at Spokane Gymnastics

Leaders Group
Advises the board and staff on GSI’s economic development program - business expansion, retention, recruitment and key developments.

Forward Fairchild

Healthcare Committee
Promotes a comprehensive and integrated system of health care delivery, education programs, and skilled workforce in the Inland Northwest. Meets: Third Tuesday of every other month, 7:30-8:45 a.m. Chair: Kim Haggerty, Umpqua Bank; Staff Liaison: Meg Lindsay 509.321.3611

Health Industry Development Group (HIDG)
For C-level leaders in the health industry, working to link the health sciences industry to advocacy (public policy) and drive economic development in our region. Meets: First Tuesday of every other month at 7:30-8:45 a.m. Chair: Bill Bouten, Bouten Construction; Staff Liaison: Meg Lindsay | 509.321.3611

Higher Education Leadership Group (HELG)
A national model of collaboration among higher education institutions and the business community. Members of this committee are Chancellor's and Presidents of our regional higher education institutions and universities amd leaders of businesses in our community.  This committee meets by invitation only. International Trade Roundtable
Responsible for forwarding trade relations strategies throughout the Spokane region. Staff Liaison: Drew Repp | 509.321.3634

K-12 Roundtable
Links K-12 leadership closely with business and industry to improve understanding of employer needs and to work together to develop solutions. Vision 2030 GSI Board Team
Drives the comprehensive vision for the growth of health sciences education, research, commercialization and the life sciences industry.

Public Policy Council

AgriBusiness Public Policy Committee
Addresses policy issues affecting local agriculture and its allied industries including trade and investment policy, natural resource management, and federal farm bills. Staff Liaison: Myrna O'Leary | 509.321.3633
