Congratulations to Sprague Pest Solutions

U.S. Bank Named a 2015 World’s Most Ethical Company

U.S. Bank announced earlier this month that it has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as a 2015 World’s Most Ethical Company®. The World’s Most Ethical Companies designation recognizes those organizations that have had a material impact on the way business is conducted by fostering a culture of ethics and transparency at every level of the company. Being an honoree underscores U.S. Bank’s commitment to leading ethical business standards and practices ensuring long-term value creation for key stakeholders, including customers, employees, suppliers, regulators and investors.

Winston & Cashatt Attorneys Recognized for Achievements

Two principals at Winston & Cashatt – Beverly L. Anderson and David P. Gardner – have both been recognized recently for their commitment to professionalism in the legal community. Beverly is being honored with the 2015 Smithmoore P. Myers Professionalism Award, an annual recognition of those in the Spokane County legal community who model the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. David is the recipient of the 2015 Professionalism Award for the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Idaho State Bar. Dave also has been named a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers magazine for four consecutive years.

Kevin J. Curtis, a partner at Winston & Cashatt, has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America. Kevin has also received Martindale Hubbell’s highest peer rating (AV) for ethical standards and professional ability, and has been consistently named one of Washington State’s top lawyers by Super Lawyer’s magazine and Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Living magazine.

PayNorthwest LLC Establishes Presence in Spokane

PayNorthwest LLC, a provider of cloud-based workforce management solutions, announced this week that it has established a direct presence in Spokane. With the appointment of Dale Fruit as client services advisor, PayNorthwest now offers local customers an attractive alternative to national payroll providers. The human capital management software and services firm headquartered in Seattle, Wash. helps businesses with up to 2,000 employees in a variety of industries as well as non-profits across the U.S. more effectively manage their workforce and streamline their human resources (HR) and payroll function.

MOJO Print Rebrands

After nearly a year of ownership, Rian and Wendy Lothrop, owners of Mojo Reprographics, are currently rebranding, as Mojo Print. The new name signifies a more comprehensive offering of print services, such as letterhead and envelopes, promotional material, notepads, forms, specialty business cards, custom invitations, note cards, graphic design and direct mail services and much more.  Mojo was awarded the 2014 Inland Catalyst Gold Award in the Print Design Category.

Washington Trust Bank Brings on Geoff Forshag

Washington Trust Bank‘s commercial banking division has brought on Geoff Forshag as Vice President, Director of Retail and Commercial Product Strategy. Geoff has had a long history in the banking industry and is also co-owner of Two Wheel Transit, a 2013 recipient of Greater Spokane Incorporated’s Agora award for business excellence.

Skils’Kin Wins Advocacy Award

John Lemus, a community relations coordinator with Skils’Kin, has been recognized with a 2014 Tom Miller Award for Advocacy from SourceAmerica, a national nonprofit that creates job opportunities for people with disabilities.

Northwest Farm Credit Services Recognized for Fundraising Efforts

Northwest Farm Credit Services has received the 2015 Farm Credit Council Phelps-Martin Award for services to the nonagricultural community, for the cooperative’s “Pink Tractor” campaign to fight breast cancer, which raised $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Members Recognized by Restaurant Organization

The Spokane Chapter of the Washington Restaurant Association has chosen Churchill’s Steakhouse as Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year. Dutch Brothers Coffee received the Quick Service Award.
