Decisions are one of the powerful tools’ leaders have to accomplish their goals. We each make thousands of decisions every day, and the quality of those decisions have significant ramifications for our lives and for Numerica. According to the Harvard Business Review, leaders who used best practices in decision making achieved their results 90% of the time and 40% of them exceeded expectations. Effective decision-making processes increase the number of good decisions by six fold and cut failure rates in half. In this workshop, participants will learn best practices in decision making, explore barriers and biases in the process, and walk away with tools for making and communicating future decisions.

Meet The Presenter
Chris Wheatley develops individuals, teams and organizations to create healthy and productive organizational environments. Chris currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Organizational Development at Numerica Credit Union, where he trains and coaches employees at all levels on strategic leadership, interpersonal effectiveness, and creating high performing teams. Prior to his current position, Chris spent nearly a decade at Gonzaga University in various leadership and teaching roles. He is also a principal consultant with Symbio, a leadership development firm focused on creating organizational authenticity and high-performing cultures. Chris has a B.A. and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
