Financial Aid Workshop
FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP: The Spokane Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is hosting a Financial Aid Workshop for parents and high school seniors to get an overview of federal and state financial aid and work with knowledgeable volunteers to complete an application.
The workshop is Saturday, Dec. 10, 12-3 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (500 S. Stone St.). Transportation is available upon request. Parents must attend with their student, unless the student is an unaccompanied youth as defined by the McKinney Vento Act.
To complete the FAFSA/WASFA, please bring the following documents: Social Security Number or Alien Registration ID Number (parent and student); 2021 federal tax return, W-2s, and other records of earned income (parent and student); asset information, if applicable; and records of any untaxed income. Visit studentaid.gov/ and wsac.wa.gov/wasfa to learn more about financial aid applications.
