Presenter – Victoria Slater
Currently residing in Idaho with her husband and two very spoiled dogs, Victoria decided to write How To Negotiate Without Freaking Out to help her friends (and hopefully many others) easily gain negotiating skills.
She spent over twenty years in the entertainment industry. Her career has taken her to foreign lands and on the sets of many feature films and television projects, negotiating all the way. She spent a year in South Africa for TransWorld Pictures as Production Executive and Director of Development. While there she negotiated the distribution deals for, and oversaw the production of feature films. She is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America, served on the PGA Board of Directors for nine years and chaired their Mentoring Program for over seven years. In 2007 Victoria was awarded the prestigious AP Council Commitment Award for her service to the Guild. Her hobbies are biking and pickleball, and she volunteers as a Cuddler at her local NICU.
