Advanced students study with Coach James Stripes
Topics: Endings game studies:
Pawns and King. Pawns, Rooks, and Kings and practice.
These chess topics, developed by Coach James Stripes, are intended for serious chess students who attend tournaments and wish to learn essential end-game skills that all top chess players use to improve her or his performance.
NOVICE CHECKMATE CAMP: Learn basic checkmates.
Session: Saturday, November 26 at Valley Chess Center
10:00 am to noon (Check-in 9:50 am)
Camp Fee: $25 Limited to 8 students.
Novice students study with the Inland Chess Academy coach to learn the fundamental checkmates. These skills will provide confidence for tournament participation.
