Making a Lasting Difference: Building a Sustainable Nonprofit
This workshop is for people who are thinking about, or in the very beginning phases of starting a nonprofit organization. The focus is on strategies for building a strong foundation and long-term sustainability. Topics include selecting the right corporate structure, forming a board of directors, defining a business model, and examining fundraising strategy. Participants will receive several tools and resources to help them get started.

About the Presenter: Rich Wallis
Rich Wallis has been a long-time SCORE Mentor and Workshop Teacher specializing in his area of expertise; the start-up and leadership of nonprofit organizations. Rich has a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, and is certified as an Advanced Board Consultant through BoardSource. Rich is also certified in Performance Consulting, trained as a CEO Coach, and has professional training in Nonprofit Fiscal Management and Nonprofit Strategic Planning.
