NextCycle Washington will open the application period for the Renew Seed Grant Program on September 21st. The grant program is designed to provide funding and technical assistance for early-stage projects focused on material waste prevention, reuse, repair, recovery, recycling, and composting that will help grow Washington state’s circular economy. Selected projects will receive grants up to $10,000 each to reimburse project expenses.

Join us for the webinar to learn about the Renew Seed Grant program structure, eligibility, project types, important dates and deadlines, and available resources to support applicants.

Who should attend? Entrepreneurs, start-ups, small businesses, established corporations, social enterprises, community-based organizations, nonprofits, trade organizations, tribal governments and organizations, universities, research teams, or a collaboration of entities. Out-of-state organizations are eligible, but the proposed project or venture must be located in and directly address the circular economy in the state of Washington.

The application period is Sept 21 – Nov 16, 2022. The program is aiming to select over 35 projects to receive support. There are no application or participation fees and no equity exchange to participate. Register today to learn more about this opportunity!

NextCycle Washington is an initiative of King County Solid Waste Division, Washington State Departments of Commerce and Ecology, Seattle Public Utilities, and the Washington Recycling Development Center.
