The Uttered and the Unspoken

SFCC Fine Arts Gallery is proud to present the exhibition The Uttered and the Unspoken,

a painting exhibition, by Portland artist and SFCC Alum,  Sam Marroquin. The paintings combine acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, mixed media and image transfers on wood and canvas. In addition, this exhibition is in collaboration with a student sculpture/Installation class, where students made sculptural objects influenced by Marroquin’s paintings. The exhibition opens Tuesday, February 18 and continues through March 18, 2019  in the Fine Arts Gallery, building 6. The Fine Arts Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

On March 18 at 11:30am there will be a closing reception, Sam Marroquin will provide a gallery walk through at 11:30 in the Fine Arts Gallery, Building 6. Refreshments will be served.
