Tom Shook Faculty Clarinet Recital

Whitworth presents Tom Shook in a faculty clarinet recital, A Whimsical Wandering around the World with a Congenial Clarinet for a Companion, on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cowles Music Center Myhre Recital Hall room 101. An eclectic program that will feature music by composers with really hip names that are hard to pronounce like Krzysztof Penderecki, Béla Kovács, Germaine Tailleferre, and Jan Krtitel Václav Kalivoda. Clarinetist Tom Shook, pianist Joy Zickau, and cellist Roberta Bottelli will be performing music from around the world: France; the Czech Republic; Poland; the United States; Hungary; and Spain!
