Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park is a winter staple for outdoor enthusiasts across our region. With 53 unique trails, serving skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels — from first-timers to seasoned experts — the mountain offers an accessible and energizing way to experience the Inland Northwest.
For those new to the sport, there’s plenty of encouragement to be found. General Manager Jim van Loben Sels shared a simple but powerful tip for anyone interested in getting started: be patient and go more than once. Like many worthwhile pursuits, skiing and snowboarding get better with time and practice.
While Mt. Spokane is best known for its winter terrain, the mountain remains active well beyond ski season. In the spring and summer months, the park offers youth day camps and opens its scenic grounds for private events and weddings — providing year-round opportunities to gather and explore.
Mt. Spokane is also unique in another important way: it is the only nonprofit ski area in the region. Every dollar earned is reinvested back into the mountain, supporting improvements, accessibility, and the long-term sustainability of this community asset.
We’re proud to spotlight Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park as a valued Greater Spokane Inc member helping make our region an exceptional place to live, work, and play.
