Our member partner businesses are doing good for our community and as partners of GSI, they are helping to create a thriving economy and Spokane region.

GSI member partner Premier Manufacturing is a 55,000 square-foot facility in Liberty Lake, WA. It’s one of those local companies that’s doing big things—both for the community and on a global scale. With more than100 employees, their products are shipped all over the world.
For 25 years, GSI member partner Collins Aerospace has helped shape the manufacturing landscape of Spokane. Located in the former Goodrich location, they are now undergoing a $200 million expansion and are anticipating hiring an additional 80 new employees and adding 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
GSI Member Partner Beyond Pink works to improve lives in our community by providing education about, funding for, and access to, advanced breast screening technologies.
The Inland Northwest Farmers Market Association (INWFMA) is a new nonprofit member partner of GSI and consists of a coalition of 10 farmers’ markets serving the Inland Northwest. They work to nurture and empower farmers’ markets as a vital tool for economic development, sustainable agriculture, food security, and community connectedness.
Communities in Schools of Spokane County Partners to Help Kids Succeed. With one in six children under the age of 18 living in poverty coupled with an environment that’s been impacted by the effects of a pandemic, it’s critical to have a support system in place to lift and empower disadvantaged kids. Mentor Up is one local community campaign doing just that.
People from around our region say it all the time: Spokane has some of the best golf you’ll find in the country. There are more than 40 golf courses in the Intermountain Northwest and you don’t have to break the bank to play. We decided to go check out one of our most historic member partners – Wandermere.

People helping people, that’s the philosophy of GSI member partner BECU and has been since it was founded by a group of Boeing employees in 1935. In 2002, BECU became a full community credit union and opened its doors to provide services to members of the Washington State community.
There are only a handful of premier landmark restaurants in our region that help shape and define Spokane, and The Onion Taphouse and Grill is one of them. A member of GSI for over four decades, The Onion was first introduced to downtown Spokane in 1976.
GSI member partner Kiemle Hagood has been a staple of the Spokane community for a long time, celebrating their 50-year anniversary. Starting with just a handful of employees the company, run originally by Ed Kiemle and Jerry Hagood, had a focus on property management and commercial brokerage.
GSI Member Partner Hub Sports Center was created in 2007, re-opening a shuttered facility with the goal of providing events that would have a positive impact on youth and the community.
GSI Member Partner Longbow Financial Services is a local and veteran-owned family business in downtown Spokane. Michael Furrer, the founder of Longbow Financial Services, is highly dedicated to his practice of providing retirement plans and wealth management services across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
