2018-2019 Legislative Agenda Process

GSI has kicked off its 2018-2019 legislative agenda development process. Through the month of September, GSI will solicit legislative and funding requests for our State Priority Agenda. The Public Policy Council will review submissions at their quarterly meeting on October 16th and provide recommendations to the board. The final agenda will be released at our Legislative Forum on December 13th.

In late December we will also begin development of our Federal Priority Agenda, opening requests the third week of December.

GSI’s advocacy continues with our Olympia Fly-in January 23-24. This annual event sends a powerful message to our state lawmakers, with more than 100 business, education, and civic leaders carrying a unified message to Olympia.

You can learn more about our advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels here.
