2026 Leadership Advisory Council and Executive Board Nominations

The nominating committee of Greater Spokane Incorporated has successfully completed its responsibility to nominate new members for one-year terms on the Leadership Advisory Council (LAC) and for Executive Board Officers, and Chair-Elects of the six committees for two-year terms, with all terms beginning on January 1, 2026. 

The nominees for the Executive Board are:

  • Christine Varela, Chair-Elect, Executive Board, DH
  • Kevin Brockbank, Member at Large, Executive Board, Spokane Colleges

The nominees for the Leadership Advisory Council Members (1-year terms) are:

  • Amy Knapton Vega, Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery
  • Darby McClean, Spiceology
  • Manny Hochheimer, Idaho Central Credit Union
  • Ellie Aaro, Beacon Hill Catering and Events
  • Aaron Wilson, CHAS Health
  • Jeff O’Neill, Alliant Insurance

Committee Chair-Elects (Two-year terms, followed by two years as Chair)

  • Colleen Condon, Lilac City Early Learning  Education and Talent Alliance
  • Eva Marquette, FreshVue – Economic Development Committee  
  • Tamara McGregor, The Inlander – Partner Engagement and Growth Committee
  • Marcelo Morales, A4Ventures – Finance and Administration Committee  
  • Heather Rosentrater, Avista – Regional Visionaries Committee   
  • Jim Van Loben Sels, Mt. Spokane Ski Resort – Regional Advocacy Committee  

According to the bylaws of Greater Spokane Incorporated, additional nominations, other than those made by the nominating committee, may be made by endorsement of ten (10) Members and submitted to the Secretary by October 15. In the event this occurs, a ballot will be sent to all Members above in good standing with all ballots to be returned on or before 5:00 P.M. October 30. Those Members having the most votes will be declared elected, and the Treasurer will certify their election at or before the last Executive Board meeting of the year.
