GSI Hires New Staff

FireworksWe are excited to welcome new GSI staff to our team, helping our organization create something greater for our region and your business. All will be on-board by the end of this month. Pictures to come!

Erik Poulsen, Public Policy Director
Erik brings broad experience to the position, having served in the State legislature for 13 years, serving first as Representative for six years and then as the 34th District Senator (Democrat) for six years, ending in 2007. Following that, he served as the Government Relations Director for the Washington Public Utility Districts Association which represents 26 diverse utilities across the state.

Lisa Bridston, Events Director
Lisa comes to us with a wealth of events and fundraising experience including Thrivent Financial Builds with Habitat for Humanity, coordinating Epicurean Delight for more than a decade as a benefit for the local medical community, fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network, Festival of Trees and many more. Lisa has an MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and is currently pursuing certification from the Association for Fundraising Professionals.

Patty Bender, Membership Account Manager
Patty’s experience spans the areas of non-profit development, developing donor relationships, community partnerships, and increasing resources for organizations such as Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Foundation, and  the American Childhood Cancer Organization.

Bri Anne Miller, Education & Workforce Program Coordinator
Bri Anne Miller is a recent graduate from Whitworth University with a B.A. in Speech Communications. While at Whitworth, Bri Anne competed nationally on the speech and debate team and co-founded Beyond the Pines, a student-run PR firm that assists area non-profits and small businesses.
