GSI issues statement on Freeman High School shooting

Spokane Aerial from ToddThis afternoon, Greater Spokane Incorporated issued the following statement on the tragic shooting at Freeman High School:

Today we grieve with the families impacted by today’s events at Freeman High School, who are in the midst of a tragedy no one should have to face. Many of us have friends and coworkers who live and work in the Freeman community. We’re thankful for the valiant response by staff, emergency teams, and for the talented medical personnel providing aid. We have also reached out to the Freeman School District, offering our condolences and support. The entire Spokane region holds the students, educators, parents, and families of Freeman High School in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
