State of the County: Building Our Future

Event shares key priorities such as infrastructure needs, public safety, and mental health and treatment services

Last week, we had the honor of hosting the 2024 State of the County, presented by Canopy Credit Union, where over 400 business leaders, elected officials, and community members gathered at the Spokane Convention Center to hear from Spokane County Commissioner Mary Kuney on the region’s progress and future goals. Centered around the theme “Building Our Future,” the event showcased Spokane County’s strategic priorities and key investments that are shaping the future of the business community and the region as a whole.

Commissioner Kuney addressed several important areas of focus, including infrastructure needs, public safety, and mental health treatment and addiction services. GSI is proud of its long-standing partnership with Spokane County, working together to foster business growth, workforce development, and infrastructure improvements that strengthen our community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors whose generous support made the 2024 State of the County possible:

Presenting Sponsor: Canopy Credit Union
Executive Sponsors: Alaska Airlines and Idaho Central Credit Union
Major Sponsors: Collins Aerospace, Gesa Credit Union, Kalispel Tribe of Indians, and Providence
