GSI Olympia Fly-in Event January 25-27

Spokane Regional Delegation to Advocate on Behalf of the Spokane Region

Greater Spokane Inc. will lead a delegation of area business, community, and education leaders for the annual Olympia fly-in January 25 – 27 to advocate on behalf of the Spokane region. The Olympia Fly-in is in partnership with Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and West Plains Chamber of Commerce.

The agenda highlights policy priorities for the Spokane region encompassing workforce, housing, and healthcare issues facing our community, among others.

Several capital and transportation projects are on this year’s State Agenda, which includes funding requests for area projects including:

• The Spokane Valley Performing Arts Center
• Minor League Baseball Stadium Improvements
• Community Wayfinding Projects
• The Argonne Station Park and Ride

GSI’s policy priorities are also included: defending our business climate, phlebotomy licensure, condominium liability reform, and health care licensure compacts. All items on our State Agenda can be found here.

Projects and issues on our agenda are all aimed at improving the business climate and overall community. All projects and issues are vetted by GSI’s Public Policy Council and the final agenda is approved by GSI’s Board of Trustees.
