Startup Weekend Spokane is one of the region’s flagship entrepreneurship events, giving anyone with an idea the ability to pitch, build a team, and launch a product within a 72-hour time frame over the course of a weekend. Notable companies such as ICPooch, Beardbrand, Photoboxx, and many more have their roots in this friendly competition, and it’s success is predicated on being an open learning environment for Spokane to create, iterate, and grow. We sit down with a few of Startup Weekend Spokane’s community leaders and discuss the event, it’s successes, and where it will be going in the future.
