A Vietnamese Lion Dance performance by the Vietnamese Youth Association will follow the ribbon-cutting and lead guests into the library.

“The reopening of Central Library is an exciting day for the community. It represents the culmination of many years of community input and voter support,” said Executive Director Andrew Chanse. “We are excited for the community to experience all that Central Library has to offer.”

Central Library is reopening following a two-year renovation resulting from a voter-approved $77 million bond in 2018 that has built three new libraries and renovated three existing libraries, including the Central Library.
