Meet the Bigs – Event Recap

We had a great turnout at the Meet the Bigs Event on October 25. There were 49 exhibitors and over 300 attendees! The primary focus of Meet the BIGS is to help local small businesses connect with local prime contractors and local, state, and federal government agencies. In doing so, when local small businesses win contracts with agencies, it boosts the local economy and helps the small businesses thrive.

Connecting in person was extremely valuable for both the attendees and the exhibitors that attended. These connections and/or leads are only possible in a face-to-face setting where free-flowing conversations can be facilitated. During conversations, the exhibitors are able to direct attendees to specific people the attendee needed to speak with in order to prepare the attendee to do business with that exhibitor. Exhibitors also have lists of upcoming projects, prime contractors, and subcontracting information readily available.

Special thanks to Team Fairchild for partnering with Washington PTAC to put together the event. They contributed an immense amount of work alongside Aleesha Roedel which made the event a huge success. Thank you to our presenting sponsor – Garco Construction and our supporting sponsor – Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors. We appreciate all of the exhibitors and attendees as well, the takeaways from our community were incredible.
