Celebrating Women on International Women’s Day

Established in 1910, International Women’s Day recognizes women’s incredible achievements, raises awareness, and encourages advocacy for gender equality.

It’s an important day to #EmbraceEquity and allows us to reflect on the progress we’ve made. Each and every day women are leaders in their communities, and we all have a responsibility to value equity and embrace inclusion. When we do, we build a healthy and thriving community.

Women play a key role on our Board of Trustees, our committees, our leadership team, and our staff. We’re committed to fostering inclusivity through all we do, like building our talent pipeline and encouraging more girls and women in STEM fields, and building an economic development strategy that represents a collective vision for equitable and sustainable economic prosperity across Spokane County.

We’re proud to honor some amazing local leaders and businesses led by women who are making a difference in our community. They are creators, changemakers, innovators, teachers, and small and large business owners.  These are some of the amazing women-led businesses that also happen to be member partners of GSI.

*If you are a women-owned business GSI member partner and don’t see your name listed below, login to the website portal to update your profile and select “Edit this profile” then “Ownership” and select the box “Women Owned” or contact us at info@greaterspokane.org.
