GSI Welcomes New Staff Hires

cropped-WAGON1.jpgWe are proud to welcome three new staff members to the organization to support our mission of growing jobs and business investment throughout the region.

Jennifer Isaacson, Controller

Jennifer Isaacson is the newly hired Controller for Greater Spokane Incorporated. Jennifer is responsible for providing the financial leadership to GSI, and will focus on optimizing GSI’s financial processes, reporting and planning to enable the staff and board to make smart management decisions.

Prior to coming to work for GSI, Jennifer worked in non-profit management for over 20 years, most recently working as the Finance Manager for American Prairie Reserve in Bozeman, Montana. She also previously served as the Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Gallatin Valley, and the Lincoln County Help Line.

Michael Kelly, Government and Regulatory Affairs Coordinator

Michael Kelly recently joined GSI as the Government and Regulatory Affairs Coordinator, where he will work closely with other members of the Government Affairs team to implement the issue and agenda development process. Before moving to Spokane he graduated from the University of Washington, where he studied Political Economy and Mathematics, and spent a year working on a statewide political campaign.

James Eik, Marketing and Communications Coordinator

James Eik is GSI’s new Marketing and Communications Coordinator, responsible for internal and external newsletters, press releases, blogs, and social media support. After graduating from Eastern Washington University with a journalism degree, he covered local news throughout Spokane County as a reporter for the Cheney Free Press, connecting with businesses and local leaders. Prior to joining GSI, he served in the marketing department for a Liberty Lake technology manufacturer, telling their story of innovation and customer service.
