Buy local for Small Business Saturday

As a Neighborhood Champion in American Express’ Small Business Saturday, Greater Spokane Incorporated is here to help your business succeed at the start of this holiday shopping season.

Whether you’re a restaurant, retailer, service provider, or a publication, Small Business Saturday is an important part of our local economy.

Join us Friday, Nov.18 any time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our first floor conference room, as we distribute swag and materials to help small businesses throughout our region succeed on Small Business Saturday this year! This invitation is open to all businesses, not just GSI members. We’ll have some special holiday treats and hot beverages for you to enjoy. Visit with our staff and learn more about our organization.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, there are 574,455 small businesses currently operating throughout Washington state. Defined as a firm with fewer than 500 employees, that means 99.5 percent of businesses in the state are small businesses.

Don’t miss your chance to get some fun items to display throughout your store in the week leading up to Small Business Saturday, and don’t forget to use #ShopSmall on your social media accounts. By working together, we can make this a great event for our entire community!
